Season starts today!
After few long tryout sessions and the warm up exhibition individuals event at York last week, the OUA tennis season gets
underway today. Last weekend, Mark Renesson and Anatasia reached the finals of the individuals event, while Dorea got to
the semi-finals of the consolation draw. This weekend, while the gents will face Brock and York, the ladies will face York and McGill. McGill, the only team from Quebec
that plays in the OUA, will definitely be looking to avenge last's years loss in the finals against the Varsity Blues. Both
the men's and women's teams are looking forward to a great season. This year, the Blues look quite promising, comprising of
both veteran OUA players and new comers with great talent. With new faces on the team, the ladies will try to defend as OUA
champions. The gents would most definitely like to improve on last season's performance and should have the fire power to do it.
