Scholarships
OUA universities do not offer tennis scholarships.

First Meeting
Time: TBA
Location: Field House tennis courts, 3rd floor of the Warren Stevens Building (U of T Athletic Centre, 55 Harbord St., on the southeast corner of Spadina Rd. and Harbord St.)

Number of Matches
The season consists of 2 to 3 weekends of matches from mid September to mid October.

Team Member Costs
The University of Toronto varsity blues tennis teams are only partially funded by the university. Each player must pay $50 team fee (in addition to the $50 tryout fee) to cover hosting costs for court fees, balls, refreshments etc. This fee must be paid to the head coach before participating in any team matches.

Practices
7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Field House.

Number of Players
Each team is in need of 6 singles players and 3 doubles teams. Each team will also usually carry several subs in case of injury etc.

2007-2008 Tryout Costs and Details
The tryouts are $50 per player with all players guaranteed 2 matches. Matches will consist of 8 game pro sets with no ad scoring with tiebreaker at 7 all. $50 per player payable at the start of the tournament.

Tryouts Date Changes - Because of an OTA tournament at the Churchill Tennis Club our tryout dates have been changed to the following:
 
DATES - Wednesday Aug 29 and Thursday August 30 from 12 to 4 pm. Winners will continue the following week, as well as latecomers, at the same location 12-5 pm on Wednesday Sept 5. If you are not going to be in town for the first dates let me know in advance.
